A Day of
Maternal Movement
A Day of Maternal Movement invites women into a supportive, embodied space to move, reconnect, and prepare for the transitions of motherhood. Three thoughtfully curated sessions are offered throughout the day, each honoring a different phase of the maternal journey. Participants are welcome to attend one session or remain for multiple offerings across the day.
Group Offerings
Moving Through Motherhood
-
Moving Through Motherhood is a nurturing, postpartum-centered circle for mothers to gently reconnect with their bodies, their babies, and themselves. When you birth a baby, you also birth a new version of yourself, and both mother and baby continue to grow, stretch, and reach new milestones together.
This class offers a restorative blend of gentle, rhythmic movement, functional exercises, mindful conversation, and community connection. Mothers are welcome to attend with babies in arms, carriers, or nearby, creating a flexible and supportive environment that honors real life. Through movement and shared reflection, participants are invited to rebuild strength, release tension, and tune into their body’s natural rhythms.
Evidence-based maternal and child health education is woven throughout each session, supporting emotional well-being, body awareness, and confidence during the postpartum period and beyond. Each gathering creates space to move, breathe, share, and celebrate the evolving experience of motherhood, honoring every stage with care and compassion.
Moving Through Labor
-
Moving Through Labor is a body-based childbirth class that offers birthing persons the opportunity to practice movements that support progress through each phase and stage of labor. Designed to help labor feel intuitive and responsive, this class emphasizes working with gravity, movement, and instinct to support a smoother birth experience.
In a supportive, nurturing environment, participants learn movements that help open the pelvis, create space for the baby, and encourage optimal fetal positioning. Through embodied practice, you’ll develop muscle memory, confidence, and a deeper connection to your body and your baby. Strategies are also shared for continuing these movements throughout pregnancy, helping you feel more prepared and in tune as labor approaches.
Guided by evidence-based childbirth education, this class moves beyond learning about labor to embodying it. Participants explore labor positions, practice working with gravity, and build trust in their body’s natural ability to guide the birth process. This experience supports fear reduction, empowerment, and a grounded sense of readiness as you prepare to meet your baby.
Moving Togther for Birth
-
Moving Together for Birth is a body-based childbirth class designed for the birthing person and their chosen support partner(s). Together, participants learn how to work with gravity, movement, and instinct to support a more easeful labor and birth experience.
Research shows that movement during labor may help shorten labor, reduce pain, and decrease the use of medical interventions. Because birth happens in the body, preparation is most effective when it is also embodied. Through gentle, intentional movement, participants build muscle memory that can be recalled and trusted during labor.
In this class, the birthing person and their supporter practice how to tune into the birthing body and baby, create space in the pelvis, support optimal fetal positioning, and reduce common discomforts such as back labor. Alongside movement, your instructor weaves in evidence-based childbirth education, helping participants better understand and nurture the natural process of labor.
This 90-minute experience offers a supportive, nurturing environment where movement, relaxation, connection, and hands-on practice are encouraged. By learning and moving together, partners build confidence, deepen trust, and strengthen their ability to navigate birth as a team.
These sessions are grounded in both evidence-based care and energetic alignment, and reflect my passion for helping women find peace through every stage of life.
